Plasma Pen Treatment

One of the latest discoveries in aesthetic medicine is treatments with the use of a microplasma beam for non-surgical skin lifting. Plasma, distinguished by some scientists as the fourth state of matter, is a precise tool used in aesthetic medicine. The action of the plasma is limited to the epidermis, thanks to which the patient’s downtime and exclusion from daily activities are short. Covering makeup can be applied immediately after the treatment. Due to the sublimation of epidermal cells, the plasma beam is also used to remove skin lesions. Compared to surgical procedures, the convalescence is extremely short; there is no bleeding and prolonged swelling. The mobility and function of the treatment area are preserved, there are no sutures and prolonged healing. Skin shrinkage is visible immediately after the treatment. The total effect of the treatment is assessed after 4 weeks. The procedure is preceded by the application of an anaesthetic cream, thanks to which the procedure is painless.

Plasma Pen Recovery Time

Recovery time- depending on the treatment location, it takes several days and is not burdensome. The effects caused by the microplasma beam (scabs) can be masked with a concealer or make-up primer, so they are not visible to the environment. The temporary swelling of the tissues is short-lived and is specific to the treatment site, and also depends on the individual circumstances of each patient. The treatment may require repetitions to achieve the full aesthetic effect – subsequent treatments can be performed 4 – 6 weeks apart. The effects of the treatments are long-lasting, usually a minimum of 3 years, and depend mainly on the progress of the natural ageing processes. In order to refresh and deepen the effects, the treatment can be repeated many times.
